It’s been 15 years. She’d been living under a new name: Hope. The first chapter ended on an interesting note, I have to admit. However, getting into the second chapter kind of confuses you on the timeline. This was supposed to be later in the day, right?
The prose keeps a consistently slow pace. Time jumps around so much that it makes you dizzy and it mainly focuses on character backstories rather than a mystery. Does something happen soon? This book showed promise, but it was a big flop.
This was very disappointing. I’m really starting to hate this author.
Please find me a good book by this author!
