Fran’s assignment as a TV new reporter was to cover the story of the convicted woman recently released from prison. Molly swore that she never killed her husband, and Fran, her old classmate, was inclined to believe her. Still, Molly paid the price for killing her husband, whether she did it or not, so now that she was home, she had to find out the truth of what really happened that night. Will she ever remember the memories she blocked out?
But there’s lots of people that would rather not reopen the investigation for their own reasons. Could one of those reasons be murder?
Once again, MHC has a way of drawing the reader into a complex and fascinating case.
As the investigation goes deeper, it would also seem that Molly would be suspected of killing her husband’s mistress. Could she have done it? And what was going on at that hospital? Was it a coincidence that another doctor was killed two weeks prior to Dr. Lasch’s murder?
A tantalizing mystery from start
to finish. A quick and riveting read!
