At 17, June
Esperanza was not about to go into the foster care system after her grandmother
died, so she quit school, hit the road, and ended up back in Hardy Falls.
It’s a
wandering story in a town full of memories and forgettable characters. It keeps
a slow pace and it seems to go almost nowhere. It just wasn’t interesting.
