Review: FAKING LUCKY by Q.D. Purdu

Desdemona is a 27-year old woman, who’s never experienced the big-O. And now it has been noted on a reality TV show by a bastard ex. Oh great.
Of course, never having an orgasm shouldn’t be such a big deal. So she’s had to fake it this whole time. Nothing’s ever been able to compare to her first love from high school, even though they never went all the way. Hunter’s been the only one to ever elicit such yearning and electricity.
Still, Desdemona certainly doesn’t want to be notorious for her sexual ineptness, so she starts reading up on this and does some experimenting, including going to orgies and tying someone up. Ay!
Story goes back and forth between her high school past and her schooling present, where she’s trying to learn how to get the orgasm. The girl just thought too much about sex and getting there.

Even though the scenes with Hunter were endearing, I also wondered why there was so much emphasis on the story behind him taking the blame for stealing that money in high school.

Story sounded like a funny, quirky tale, but it’s not that easy to get into with all this sex stuff. In fact, some of it can get kind of gross.

Overall, this was okay.
