After her fall, Avery has not
been able to remember the last two years of her life. She knows that she has a
loving and caring husband who doesn’t feel right leaving her alone without a
babysitter. Having a husband that takes care of you when you’re sick is great,
but it can be overbearing and annoying. That drive anyone crazy!
Funny how her husband kept
insisting she liked certain things when she never used to. Could a person
change that much? I don’t know. But his constant need to control her and treat
her like a child was getting frustrating. Something wasn’t adding up. She had
clothes she didn’t remember wearing and she was believing things that,
according to her husband, never happened. Mmm…suddenly we’re intrigued to find
out what Avery was really like before. Something definitely happened before her
accident. Or was it even an accident? That husband of hers was definitely too
angry and violent with her. What’s his problem anyway? Part 2 is where we see
the real monster that was Logan, her husband. Wow! The only reason Logan stays
with her is to enhance his image as a “compassionate and caring husband.” Avery
was sick and trapped in an abusive marriage. Right away, you root for Avery to
remember why she fears her husband and hope that she can escape him. I knew
that husband was trying to kill her and had something to do with that “fall”
that caused her amnesia. How will this all end? A good read!
