Could a city kid make it out
west in the Dakota territory? Sure, the land was free, but they had to live in
a mud hut with the hottest summers and coldest winters. Didn’t sound worth it
to me. The winters were really rough and this one would reach epic records. One
day at school, a raging blizzard came out of nowhere. Wow, the look of that
blizzard in the picture! How will the kids survive? A good read!
