A 74-year-old woman’s
confession of something she did in the past awakens the “old ghosts of 1968.”
This started off well and, at
first, it sounded like something I could get into. But after Kate sets off on
this trip back to an old town, these old memories and people come out of the
woodwork. It was quite long and slow. When would she travel back in time
already? That event doesn’t happen until chapter 7. Much too long to wait for a
pivotal event.
This was an okay time-travel
story, but it wasn’t great.
