Review: THE PODCAST KILLER by CK Smith

“The city hides its secrets... but not from me.”

A killer walks in the shadows, exposing the lies buried deep beneath the city’s surface.
Six women missing. One whispered call for help. And a podcast that dares to tell the truth.

Welcome to Whispers in the Dark.
Hosted by the mysterious Ethan Cole, this isn’t your average true crime podcast. With each chilling episode, Ethan pulls listeners into a gripping investigation where corruption runs deep, and no one is safe. The deeper he digs, the more dangerous the game becomes—and someone out there is playing for keeps.

Do you dare to listen?

Because in the dark, nothing is what it seems. And the darkest secrets?
They’re the ones whispered in the dark.

My Review: “Chaos masquerading as order.”

Ethan Cole was the host of his podcast show, “Whispers in the Dark,” where he discusses cases in which the system failed at.

“Ethan Cole is the voice they hear. Because when the system falters, I’m the one who delivers the justice no one else will. The judge and executioner.”

He was the Podcast Killer cleaning up the city and serving justice. Det. Laura Reynolds had no clue how this killer was getting away with it, but she knew it had something to do with Ethan Cole’s podcast.

This sounded like it might be a good suspenseful read. You hear Ethan Cole’s story (not his real name by the way,) you understand his fight for justice. It’s because of the lack of justice that he doesn’t have his wife and daughter, and his only surviving son is forever bound to a wheelchair.

The premise was rather interesting. Quite frankly, it sounded like every other serial killer story hunt. The pace was long and slow. It certainly didn’t need to be that long. All in all, a fairly nice read.
