Review: After finding out she was pregnant and that her boyfriend was married, Leighton was homeless, penniless, and alone. Then some fairy godmother gave her a little luck with a roommate and a job.

Dr. Xavier was still grieving the loss of his wife and unborn son. Xander works through his grief while Leighton adjusts to motherhood.

The whole fairy thing seemed out of place here, but, fortunately, it wasn’t the main part of the story. You automatically feel for the characters’ struggle and the genuine connection that forms between them. But what happens when the baby’s father shows up and wants full custody? Can Leighton and Xander form a united front to fight it?

Sweet, heartfelt, and hopeful, this story just makes you believe again. A nice, romantic read!
