Review: YOU BELONG TO ME by Mary Higgins Clark

A discussion of a woman’s strange disappearance on live radio creates a ripple, exposing hidden truths. It begins with a woman calling in about her whirlwind romance on a cruise, the man she met, and the ring he gave her inscribed with the words: “You Belong to Me.”

After the radio show, the victim’s mother recalled the same ring found in her daughter’s possession. The ring was the key! But what happens when a sadistic charmer refuses to let anyone find out about him? The results could be deadly. And this man will not stop preying on lonely women at sea. In fact, he will kill anybody that might get in his way (and he does.)

Once again, MHC has created an easy and captivating read right from the start. It’s a great mystery! Clark has a way of naturally drawing in the read. And even though the predictability of the storyline correctly led me to the right guess, this was still a good read.
