Review: DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL by Mary Higgins Clark

** 2ND TIME REVIEW **

23 years ago, Ellie’s older sister—Daddy’s Little Girl—was found murdered. Now, her killer was coming up for parole and the young journalist wouldn’t stand for it.

Story re-lives what happened after the murder in Ellie’s diary voice. To help keep the killer in jail, Ellie hoped that writing a book on her sister’s murder would strengthen the case and opinions. You’re immediately drawn to the story and the case even though it’s all told in a single-person perspective.

In this book, Ellie sifts through memories, clues, and eyewitnesses to get to the truth about her sister and what really happened. The whole time we take a ride on the investigative reporter wagon. Will she re-convict a killer? Or will the killer be after her now?

A compelling read that was worth another try.
