Excerpt One:

 

Tatum’s mom needed to go to the bank, so she and her son got in the rusty old car and headed out. When they got to the bank, Tatum waited on the chair while his mom took foorrevverr with the lady bank teller.

Tatum got super bored, so he decided to sneak around. When he got around back, he overheard a man and another bank teller talking. The bank teller asked, “What can I do for you, Mr. D?”

Review: Meet Tatum. When his mom takes him to the bank, he realized that you could get money from there and money can buy you things like a rad, new car. Instead, his mom opts to take him to the apple orchards for an EPIC LIFE lesson.

 

The illustrations were comical and cute. Story is a good life lesson about nurturing growth and taking special care so that ones can enjoy the fruits of their labor.

 

A nice story!
