Review: SILENT WITNESS by Robin James

Cass’ sister is being charged with double murder. The adopted parents of Vangie’s daughter were dead and the daughter was missing. Can Cass figure this mess out?

Once again, this had a gripping premise. Can Cass stop thinking like a sister long enough to think like a lawyer? She’d kind of have to. How was she going to prove that her sister didn’t kill those people?

The read was pretty compelling from beginning to end. Things got more complicated and intense when the daughter was found—the only silent witness that could possibly get Cass’ sister scott-free. What did she see? Poor Cass was fighting two cases here: her sister’s murder trial and the petition case of her niece. Story gets you hooked. We actually have a thrilling showdown in the end. Great read!
