Chris was a retired FBI agent
and a widowed father of three daughters. This started off pretty good with a
strong narrative…until I got to chapter 3, which seemed to have a history
lesson on the Civil War. Why, I don’t know. Needless to say, I skipped that
long chapter. After that, we go to a book club for retired cops, where we meet
more varied characters and get more useless information. This is where I was
really starting to lose interest. This wasn’t a good read and I won’t be
continuing the series.
