The last time we saw Cameron,
she had left her serial killer husband tied to a tree and left to be eaten by
wolves. Now, could she be convicted for his murder? Or did he survive?
The murder of a young woman
sends everyone in the Alaskan town into turmoil. Was Cameron’s ex-husband at it
again? Or was there another killer? Right away you get hooked on who this
killer is. Cameron was still so sure that her ex-husband was still alive and
behind the recent killings. But the most frightening thing of all was the
possibility that her new boyfriend wasn’t being entirely honest. After all, she
hasn’t had the best of luck with men with a beater and a serial killer.
I liked this story. I kind of
predicted (correctly) what was going to unravel and getting to the end wasn’t
as thrilling as it could’ve been. But this was still pretty compelling. I
really do like Audrey Cole stories. A good read!
