Review: GOOSEBUMPS: THE GHOST NEXT DOOR by R.L. Stine

Hannah’s boring summer alone may turn interesting when she starts to get suspicious of the new kid that supposedly moved in next door. How come she never noticed him before? How could he always keep disappearing? Could it be possible that he was a ghost? Hannah had to find out.

Somehow this turns into a wild ghost story for Hannah. At first, this seemed like a regular, non-magical story, and it seemed that the only person Hannah was being scared by was herself with her speculations, imagination, and nightmares. It’s a question on whether or not Daniel was a ghost. You kind of figure what the real deal was and it was predictably so. Towards the end, it becomes much more of a mystery.

A read that’ll make you feel creepy about ghost for sure! A fairly nice read.
