Five women in their late 30’s
reunite for a girl’s weekend. I’d hoped that we might be getting to the
exciting thrilling stuff soon, but this had an unbelievably slow start with a
deep, flowery prose. It almost seemed like the author was spending too much
time and effort trying to sound poetic than actually get to the story. And
what’s with the insanely long narratives and long chapters? Couldn’t she have
shortened that? This will probably be the last and only book I try from this
author. What a waste!
