A weekend at the lake. Sounds
peaceful, right? Wrong!
Three couples all teetering on the
edge of the marriage cliff. The tension was only made worse with the discovery
of a dead woman’s body in the lake. I like it when a story kicks off right away
with a dead body.
Of course, secrets were leaking
out in the light of the tragedy. I love following a murder investigation. It
seems that the husbands all had a secret and they all had a connection to the
dead girl. Now, it’s up to the women to figure out the truth. It was
interesting to see how this all connected. Any one of these characters could’ve
killed the girl. Who did it!
A compelling and wonderful read!
