Review: HANDS UP by Stephen Clark

Ryan: I am NOT a murderer.

Who was he kidding? That wasn’t true. A police officer killed a black teenager. Was this shooting justified? That was for the court to decide.

Jade was shocked to hear that her brother was shot down by an officer. Why would they shoot him? She was determined to find the answer…and justice.

Story was overall well-written and delves deep into the inner-workings and political ramifications of the judicial system. Although it can get boring and complex at times, story was thought-provoking and invigorating.

Hands up is a gripping tale of urban survival, integrity, and justice.
