Review: DEATH OF A CELEBRITY by Eleanor Calder

Harriet Rose was a mystery author, a one-time wonder since her first and only book skyrocketed to the bestseller list and she hasn’t been able to write another one since. With no prospects of a new novel and no royalties left, she gets a shot to run her inn. That shouldn’t be so bad, because the inn can run itself and she can spend more time on her writing.

A celebrity chef comes to town and is not well-liked by the residents.

Story goes on describing the boring shops and weird town folk of the small, New England community. The focus was more on the gossip and the haughty British talk than anything else. Not a good read.

My rating: 2 stars
