In the near future, Earth has been welcomed into a thriving community of planets that has existed for a millennium. Interconnected by the Lightway, humanity shifted from a life of dwindling resources and internal fighting to being part of a larger universe.
When rumors of a long-dead outlaw and an old formula that can change the very properties of atoms come to light, an unlikely crew is thrust together. Two licensed bounty hunters, a "Jesus freak", a trucker, and a cop embark to prevent notorious crime boss Max Cray from acquiring this formula. Will they decipher the decades-old clues before the Cray Syndicate can gain a power that will render its boss invincible and unravel the structure of reality?
