Review: CHILL FACTOR by Sandra Brown

The worst snow storm in history and people were out in it…including a killer. Five women had gone missing and it had the whole town on edge.

The story mainly consisted of several storylines by people in town—people in town that didn’t have everything squared away up there, ya know. The narrative was long and slow. It sounded pretty good at first with the man just having buried the latest of his victims and was on the run, but it wasn’t too great if you already knew who it was from the beginning. I mean, the best part of a crime novel is figuring out who the killer is. The story had a suitable setting of the blizzard, which was cold and eerie, but it was too overly descriptive. The overall read was rather mild and not that exciting.
