Review: AN EYE FOR AN EYE by Caroline Fardig

It all began with the disappearance of a college student, a close friend of Ellie’s sister. All they found was her phone on campus. With the news looking so grim, it became even worse with the possible connection this had to the murder of another student with a note stuffed in her mouth and her eye gouged out.

“An eye for an eye.” Sounded like the mark of a serial killer.

A missing eye. A missing tooth. The hunt for a serial killer was on. This killer playing with law enforcement, luring them to new bodies and tricking them at every corner. The killer always seemed to be one step ahead of them. Now, this is the thing that keeps you on your toes. Such an interesting chase! The stakes get raised to even more frightening levels when the killer snatches Ellie’s sister. And Ellie would do whatever it takes to get her back…even if that meant re-opening an old 13-year-old solved case and finding another murderer for the psycho’s mother in 3 days. Unconscionably, you really get into that old case and wonder if the mother was indeed killed by someone else.

An interesting mystery and riveting suspense! Even better than the first book! Wow, what a killer ending! Didn’t see that bombshell coming! A terrific read!
