A child goes missing while
Detective Jenna investigates a card skimming scam. Always being a person that
wasn’t good at relationships, she takes out her anger and frustration out on
her new girlfriend. Looks like the relationship ended before it started.
This one had a slow start as
things, at first, don’t have any appeal. By chapter 5, we get a dead body by
the ATM, which may relate to the skimmer case. There was some needless
narrative here that could’ve taken out quite frankly. And the investigation took
just as much time, too. It took TOO MUCH time. This one certainly didn’t grab
me like the first one did. This book officially ends my TBR train on this
series and this author.
