Review: SEPTEMBER SKY by John Heldt

If you had a chance to travel to the 1900’s, would you do it? Personally, I wouldn’t. Evidently, this seemed like an exciting adventure for a father and son—both of whom seemed to be at crossroads in life.

This starts off as your typical time-travel story with how the time-travel came to be. The thing about it though was this was taking its sweet, snail-pace time to even get going. The author was way too busy describing every nook and cranny before even stepping through time. Get to the 1900’s already! For crying out loud, we’re 10 chapters in and they still haven’t even left yet. I’m dying here.

Too slow. Too boring. I just couldn’t take it anymore.
