Review: THE DEAD DAUGHTER by Thomas Finchman

A mother woke up one morning to find her daughter dead on the bed. Right away, this kicked off to a great start with that. However, it didn’t really maintain its appeal or stamina. From then on, we get the standard investigation and dry procedurals from the crime unit. Did that really need to last several chapters?

The narrative was nice, but I honestly expected to get more into it than I did. This had a good mystery, but the process wasn’t too enticing. It’s a decent mystery, but not the greatest. I doubt I’ll be continuing the series.
