15-year-old Chelsea has never had a first date. Then came the dangerous-looking Tim Sparks. But she gets her first date with the new boy named Will. Will and Tim. Both boys seemed off to me, raising my suspicions of their motives.
Meanwhile, there was a deranged teen killer with deep hate for the mother that left him along with a father that beat him.
This sounded good. I thought there would be more of a mystery to figure out of which boy was the killer. But then they tell you about halfway in. That’s a bummer. Plus, I didn’t like how needy and weird Chelsea was about everything concerning her first date. She was too obsessed with the kiss, about not being wanted, and about how she would be the only girl without a boy. After a while, you just didn’t care whether she gets killed or not. It’s always the shy, quiet ones you gotta watch out for. I absolutely hated that he killed a poor, defenseless kitty.
This was a mild killer story that wasn’t too great.
