Review: JUST TAKE MY HEART by Mary Higgins Clark

** 2ND TIME REVIEW **

A dead actress. An estranged husband on trial for her murder. And the trial begins with Assistant Prosecutor Emily Wallace on the case.

The murder trial certainly draws you in. And not only was Emily so focused on the trial, a creepy neighbor—one who’s killed 5 people at once—has his eyes on her. I would NOT let him watch my dog.

I don’t know why I didn’t finish the book the first time around, but, in the second time, I was really getting into the story, which was always the case for me with an MHC book. Surprisingly, the trial really reels you in. I know the husband on trail didn’t do it. But if he didn’t, then who did?

I’m glad I gave this book a second read as it turned out to be quite exciting. Even though I kind of already had a strong hunch of who the bad guys were, this was still a great read.
