Review: PARTY SUMMER by R.L. Stine

A group of teenagers working and playing at an exclusive hotel on a private island for a Party Summer. The first part had the teens arriving at this dark, creepy, and dingy hotel with them being the only ones there. Why was that butler guy insisting that they leave? There was some talk of ghosts, but mostly the narrative described the hotel and beach.

Eventually, the kids stumble on some strange things: the hidden door in the wall, the creepy brother that shows up, and a gun shot sound from inside a closed room with no body found. Strange indeed. Perhaps the place was haunted. Even though this was slower than I wanted it to be, this had a level of mystery that kept me entertained. By the end, it becomes a race for their lives. It all gets good!

A frightening read for sure!
