Review: THE NIGHTMARE ROOM: THEY CALL ME CREATURE by R.L. Stine

It all started with finding a finger in the woods. It wasn’t from a human. It was from some kind of animal. Everything was feeling weird to Laura—the woods, the animals, and even her own father. What was her father working on in the shed? What was he hiding? Something incredibly scary was in those woods. Something was attacking and eating the animals. I hated that Laura’s poor dog was attacked—his poor leg all chewed up. Oh, so sick!

This was horror and mystery all rolled into one. It’s a pretty terrifying ordeal with all the animal experiments and the hunters in the woods. Hiding in the dead dear was SO GROSS! Of course, the author had to detail every, little thing about it. A story that could only be concocted by a dark mind. I wasn’t too sure about the ending as it conflicted with what I read in the beginning.

In any sense, this was a good, scary read!
