Review: GOOSEBUMPS: THE CURSE OF CAMP COLD LAKE by R.L. Stine

“How can you have fun up to your neck in a freezing cold lake everyday? In a camp miles from any town? Surrounded on all sides by thick woods?”

Shy Sarah was miserable at Camp Cold Lake and was having a hard time fitting in with the other campers. Things only got worse with the kids playing pranks on her. Sarah vowed to show them that can play a joke, too. But then the joke ended up being on her. After a fake drowning incident, Sarah found herself in a cold, gray, silent world, where she meets a ghost named Della, who wanted her to be her buddy. If Sarah was meeting a ghost, that meant that she was dead, too. Yikes! She drowned! Fortunately, she doesn’t stay dead long and returns to the land of the living. But the ghost continues to follow her, wanting her to be her buddy.

A chilling ghost tale by the great R.L. Stine.
