Louie Llama, and Terence Toad― may live in Australia, but they travel
all over the world solving medical mysteries. In Doctoroo & the Case
of the Red-Hot Hawaiians, they fly to The Big Island of Hawaii, where
red, hot and very itchy hula dancers are in danger of missing their Big
Dance Festival. Will they have to skip the Festival, or will Doctoroo
help them in time?

Something strange was happening to the dancing Hawaiians. They were itchy, running a fever, and getting redder and redder. This sounded like a serious health problem. Time for Doctoroo to find out what it was. Can Doctoroo figure it out in time so the dancers can perform in the Hawaiian festival?
See how the team deduces the various ailments that could be the cause. It might be some kind of allergy, but to what? Poison ivy? Spider bites? The team treks on an adventurous case of a lifetime. Just when they think they’ve hit many dead-ends, Doctoroo emphasizes, “it’s not a dead end, it’s a rule out.”
The illustrations were fun and colorful, so vibrant and dynamic. The characters are smart and compassionate. Story is a combination of Doogie Howser and Sherlock Holmes. A great read!
