Review: WHICH PIE GOES WITH MURDER by Ruth Baker

Food Blogger Lucy returns to her hometown for her parent’s funeral. She never planned on staying, but to prove to an old beau that she can be a small-town girl again, she resolves to stay and work the bakery she now owned.

A competing bakery owner tries to bribe her to leave town. When she refuses, he tells her that she’ll regret it. The next day, he turns up dead in her backyard and she is the prime suspect, which makes it look very bad for business.

Can she find the killer to save her parent’s bakery and clear her name? And can she do it before she becomes the next victim?

Story had a nice and easy narrative that keeps you reading. The ending was a tad too convenient, but still a good read and mystery.
