Two children
are staying at a hotel hosted by Mr. Nicholas Noo. Being that these are his
first guests, he aims to make their stay pleasant, but he warns them not to
look behind Door 32.
Throughout
the book, we see what’s behind each door, like clowns, knights, and zombies. The warning is constantly present throughout
the story that it made me wonder if we were ever going to see Door 32. And we
do!
Illustrations
are playful and colorful, and the rhymes are fun and catchy. The book has sort of a funny, Transylvania
motif, but it’s not at all scary. In fact, this is a rather fun and enjoyable
children’s book.
