Going to a lizard farm sounded as
much fun as a root canal to Kate. That led to them coming back with a rare
lizard egg. Once the egg broke, out came a tiny lizard the size of a black bee.
The little guy may be small, but he sure had chompers. One bite from the lizard
and your skin turned weird…scaly.
When Kate started catching and
eating flies, then she was starting to worry. What was happening to her? Was
Kate really turning into a lizard? But turns out that her family had a secret
all along. A nice read!
