Sue and her sisters were going to
Honduras to visit family. Sue was dreading it because she wanted to have fun
this summer. The art work was colorful, but I didn’t like the text change from
black to blue—it made it hard to read.
I could relate to Sue’s refusal to
have a quinceañera. A big, loud party while wearing a poofy, ridiculous
dress? Bleh!
“Why can’t my journey to womanhood
be replaced by just cutting a cake and spending the day reading a book in my
room?” Yeah!
In this funny comic, Sue has to
try on high heels, write a speech, and learn to dance. Oy, the quinces!
This was a cute and decent read
although I didn’t quite enjoy it as much I thought I would. A fairly nice one.
