Review: THE STOLEN TWIN by Michelle Wacek

A college student who hadn’t seen her twin sister since she was seven and then spots her at a Halloween party. Was Kit hallucinating that she saw her sister, Cat, who was warning her?

After you get past that weird fairy dream in the beginning, it seems to be interesting with this vanishing twin suddenly reappearing. But the diary narrative of this girl was so long and slow—so unbelievably daunting. Everything was described in such short, poetic statements, but the story wasn’t really moving forward. It seemed like the story was standing still and the long chapters didn’t help any either.

I expected so much more from this and all I got was a sad disappointment.
