Review: I’LL WALK ALONE by Mary Higgins Clark

Zan is an interior designer whose son went missing 2 years ago. Willy and Alvirah Meehan, the old lottery winners, had so much compassion for the missing child and his grieving mother. Her son’s birthday was hard enough on Zan and these strange credit card charges she knew nothing about were only making it worse.

A smashing break comes to light when an enlarged photo of the disappearance shows an exact double of Zan taking the child. Ooh! Why would she take her own child? This didn’t make sense. What was going on?

“But it wasn’t me” cried Zan. “Someone who looks like me took Matthew.”

Nobody believed that she didn’t take her own son and that she wasn’t making all these charges.

A compelling mystery with a shocking end!
