Review: THE GIRL OUTSIDE by James Caine

Story had an easy narrative with a few typos that were inexcusable to miss. It takes a while to settle into the story of a single mom of a soon-to-be high school graduate. The mom is feeling depressed and lonely, and often has to run to the bottle or a bootie call. By chapter 4, she realizes that her daughter was missing. It’s really quite slow and uneventful.

It’s somewhat suspenseful, but not really a whole lot.

Overall, an okay read.
