Review: PREGNANT WITH MY ROOMMATE’S DAD by Sofia T. Summers

Ian was a single father with a daughter in college. He’s worried that she may not graduate thanks to the bad influence of her roommate, Maxie. Maxie was just your typical starving student that knew how to budget and never forced alcohol down her friend’s throat. What was the dad’s problem anyway? His daughter was a grown adult. Just let her be.

When the girls get flooded out of their apartment, they have no choice but to move into Ian’s newest renovation. Maxie was actually a serious student and wanted to make something of her life. With not having the same privileges as her roommate or others on campus, she had to work extra hard with what little money and resources she had.

Ian and Maxie constantly have a battle of wills where the daughter was concerned. What happens when the girls throw a reckless party at his house?

After an explosive encounter, Ian realizes that perhaps Maxie wasn’t the villain he made her out to be. The whole thing’s full of passion and tension between the two.

One night, while Ian and Maxie were having of their heated arguments, only one thing to do comes to mind.

“This is what happens when girls misbehave. This is what happens when they lie.”

Big mistake?

“My body begged to teach Maxie all kinds of wicked lessons.”

With all their time spent together, it was no wonder that she got pregnant. Now what? Were all her plans shattered? And how will Ian react?

The love scenes were slow at times. They weren’t as steamy—they were mostly short and to the point. Still, this was a good, sweet read.
