“We’re going to add a woman to your show.” That was one of the worst things to hear for Ben A.K.A. “Dr. Tough Love,” a love-dishin’ radio jockey.
“If I go, there will be trouble. And, if I stay, it will be double.”
For Lori, nothing was worse than getting dumped on her own show. What kind of guy calls up to break up with you on live radio? Right then and there, she lost that lovin’ feelin’. Welcome to Break-Up Radio! And, Lori, welcome to unemployment.
Dr. Tough Love meets his new co-host. One show. Two hosts. Sugar-coated advice vs. In-Your-Face sense. What a fun combo!
He pushes her to quit, but she won’t give up that easily. With the back-and-forth zingers and snappy quips, the 2 had awesome chemistry. They were certainly good as opposites. But you know what they say: opposites attract. How could opposites possibly have everything in common? That was just too ridiculous, coincidental, and dull. Why would you want someone that likes everything you like?
Once the two started liking each other and getting along, it was definitely not that fun anymore. Who’s going to listen in to two people constantly agreeing with each other? Where’s the fighting. I definitely liked it better when they hated each other.
This one was not as good a read as other books, but it was an okay love story.
