Review: CALLING DR. LAURA by Nicole Georges

This is about a woman who gets to a palm reader to learn that her real father is still alive.

Black and white drawings are stiff and lifeless. Some of the text is hard to read and you can’t really follow the story by the pictures. Her story is not that interesting. She adopts a chicken? Weirdo.

Most of it consists of her talking about her wacked-out childhood. I don’t get it. It’s too all over the place. Makes no sense. I thought it would be funny, but it’s just too weird and stupid.

My rating: 2 stars
