Alice was
newly married and pregnant. One night, the man she married doesn’t come home.
Although the
writing was pretty good, the story wasn’t what I thought it be. Once Alice sees
that man coming home wasn’t her husband, the story goes back, reliving how
Alice met Dominic. She didn’t quite fancy him at first, but her life was about
to change in ways she didn’t imagine. This part was intriguing. The
relationship moved fast, and there was too much time spent on the wedding
stuff. Gee, get to the suspense already!
There was
too much time spent on the “then.” What about the “now?” Very slow! So NOT
worth it!
