These
stories are a Christmas tales with a horror twist.
One man spends
Christmas Eve at a graveyard. One woman receives a “nightmare box.”
There seemed
to be a literary style to the writing, almost in an old-fashioned sense. They’re
not really scary. In fact, each story contains a bit of dark irony. I would’ve
liked the stories to have been more simplistic. I felt there were often too
complex with too many characters and too many points of view. I didn’t quite
enjoy these stories as much as I expected. They were almost too dull for me.
