Review: TEAR DOWN AND DIE by Joanna Campbell Slan

“I was at a crossroads, a spot on the map between emptiness and confusion—and I didn’t know which way to turn.” (5)

Cara felt so uneasy and unsettled (know the feeling) that she just can’t help but ball out. On her own for the first time ever, she had no idea what to do next, so she hit the road.

Has a slow start when she’s getting into town and starts talking about her estranged relatives. Did we really need all the odds and ends of this boring town? The read was much too slow. It was more literary than mystery, for sure.

My rating: 2 stars
