Boy, that Poppy is an
insatiable and inane chatterbox. She was just talking about everything and
nothing all at once. That was my very first impression of her. As you keep
reading, it starts getting dramatic with the tension ticked up a notch, which
was good, of course. When Poppy loses the starring role in a play to her arch
enemy, she decides to play a prank on her. But then the prank blow up in
everyone’s faces—literally blows up. By the end of Part 1, which takes up half
the book, another prank by the kids goes wrong and Poppy may have shot and
killed a store owner.
This was a pretty long read
with some interesting parts here and there, but I really wasn’t that into it. I
mean, who really was the wrong girl? It was okay, but not great.
