Review: SWALLOW LANE by Marie Snow

A mother and her adult son move to a new house on Liars Island. The mother was hoping for a fresh start what with her son being released from a mental hospital after the murder of his girlfriend. The son was so confused at the scene of the crime that there was a question as to whether or not he could’ve killed her. But Matthew couldn’t have inherited that killer gene from his murdering father. Could he? Then Jenny comes along. Was this girl a new obsession for Matthew? Was the past repeating again?

This read seemed kind of long and emotionally driven for the most part. I just knew something was off about the son-obsessed mother that never wanted to let her child go. An interesting read.
